Writing /Reading/Social Studies/Math/Science

Consultants for on site in classroom work in Writing, Reading, Math, Arts, Science, and Social Studies with Use of Data aligned to Core Standards:

The consultant will meet with teachers/coaches employing a variety of methods, such as: demonstrating in classrooms, modeling, coaching, co teaching, mentoring and process the ideas learned with teachers in order to improve instruction. An emphasis and integration of Core Standards is a priority.

There will be a focus on developing useful assessments, units of study & conference talk for writing, reading and social studies workshops. Core Standards alignment, curriculum mapping, RTI training and support available upon request.

Consultants will be available for on-going workshops to service the needs of the schools and teachers involved in the on site in classroom work. They are also available to assist with network professional development workshops in developing clusters of schools’ focused work. Year long leadership and coaching groups are available.

Speaker’s Bureau-National consultants are available for large group presentations, especially the city wide staff development days:

Nationally renowned authors such as Shelley Harwayne, Ralph Fletcher, Tony Stead, Sharon Taberski, Carl Anderson, Vicki Vinton, Janet Angellilo, Dorothy Barnhouse, and Georgia Heard are available for onsite and large group. Schools can share costs.

Principal Networks:

Principals meet in small groups, with a senior supervisory consultant, to discuss their individual and shared school issues, develop long range planning, develop and support assessments. Assist in preparing for Quality Review. The group of schools share costs.
